Defying all expectations and predictions, a pirate king who doesn't know the meaning of the world "insolence"! Hondo Ohnaka is the charming and quixotic leader of the Ohnaka Gang, a band of predominantly Weequay pirates who prowl the Outer Rim.
Though primarily motivated by his own self-interest, Hondo's varied crimes have occasionally landed him in unusual - and invariably temporary - partnerships. He has occasionally teamed up with notable figures such as Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, as well as other Jedi such as Ahsoka Tano.
But he has proven just as willing to abandon or betray them if they get in the way of his plans and profit. Hondo often relies on the quick-thinking Gwarm, his second in command, who helps keep the boisterous Weequay pirates in line.
